Fall
Festival October 11with pumpkins in our garden!
It
was a perfect day for a Fall Celebration of the rural life!
As you can see below there were plenty of activities for kids
and adults with the smell of baked goods drifting everywhere.
Our one room school house was fun to show off and see how
it used to be in Limestone at the turn of the century-the
last one. Thanks to Sue for the photos

Friends
of the Library Limestone Friendship Garden planting Apri 12th!
We had a fun and fabulous time too! There were as many adults as children
chatting and planting pots of veggies for the garden. It will be exciting
to bring back those sprouted seeds to plant outdoors in the Library
Friendship Garden. we were fortunate to have 4 Master Gardeners (Helen,
Jan, Marti and Rick) from the U of I Extension Service to provide
invaluable advice. Here are a few photos from the event.
