What's Going on for Kids!

Programs will held on Facebook or Discord as designated.
All visitors must wear masks while in the library.
Please sign up for any program you wish to attend ahead of time so that we may have plenty of supplies on hand.

Science Demo  on Facebook 

Wednesday, January 12 at 6:00 P.M. 

with Ms. Faith and Ms. Holly. 

Watch as our intrepid staff members demonstrate a science experiment using items you can find in your home. This program is for kids in 1st – 5th grades.


STEAM Workshop

Thursday, January 20 at 6:00 P.M. on Facebook

A part of our Getting Ready for Kindergarten grant program, STEAM Workshop is geared for students entering kindergarten in 2022. This month we are doing color chemistry. Each participant who signs up will receive a kit to complete an experiment with adult supervision following along a video with Mr. Austin on Facebook. This program is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley.

Take It and Make It Every Saturday

Drop by to pick up a new craft every week.
When you complete your craft, post a picture on our Facebook page.
