What's Going on for Kids!






Registration for our Summer Reading Program – Find Your Voice – begins on Saturday, May 20. Fill out our super simple form, get your summer reading packet, and start reading to earn your tickets for our prize baskets. Discover our fun events for summer and sign up for the ones you want to attend.




Help us start the Summer Reading Program – Find Your Voice – with a bang! We are having a Kick-off Party on Saturday, June 3 starting at 12:00 Noon that will include food, yard games, a photo booth with Lucky the library dog, and a puppet story time! 

           Please register in advance              so we can plan appropriately.





Our popular program, S.T.E.M.onade Stand take-and-make projects, returns for the summer on Wednesday, June 7. Every week we will have a different project that kids can put together with the help of an adult as needed. On June 7, the project is Simple Robots.

Storytime returns for the summer on Wednesdays at 10:15 A.M. 

Our first session is on Wednesday, June 7 with Mr. William reading a picture book or two and leading us through a fun craft. 

Other sessions take place on June 14, June 21, and June 28.





Join us on Thursday, June 8 from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. for a Family Video Game Party. We will have on hand Super Smash Bothers Ultimate along with Mario Kart and Guitar Hero. Feel free to bring your own Nintendo Switch and joycons! Snack will be provided.




Kids in 1st through 5th Grades are invited to 
Youth Craft Day on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00 A.M. We are creating stickers from participants’ imagination. Let your creativity run wild.  

All supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.






On Friday, June 16, pick up our Father’s Day Take-and-Make Project. 

 Supplies are limited. Come in to pick one up before they are gone.



 

Join us for Puppet Storytime Theater on Saturday, June 17 at 11:00 A.M. in person with Mr. William and Ms. Holly performing a fun story with our collection of puppets in our puppet theater! Come for the story, stay for the craft afterwards.

 




Join us on Thursday, June 22 from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. for a Family Video Game Party

Make a Tie Dye Shirt at the Library on Saturday, June 24.

Have fun wrapping a shirt with rubber bands and decorating it with crazy colors on Saturday, June 24 in two sessions at  11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.

We provide the tie dye, you provide the shirt!
