The Friends of the Library is looking to get our library
new, cutting-edge technology!
Do you ever use the library computers?
Did you know that high-speed internet was available for your use, free of charge?
Help us raise money for the library. We are raising funds to purchase:
þ 5 computer systems (so the library will have 8 new systems available for patrons)
þ 3 additional monitors, to replace old monitors in the library
þ 1 laptop computer, for use with our SMART Board and for PowerPoint presentations
þ 1 Flip video camera, to provide online video tutorials about library resources
To make this a reality, Friends of the Library is working to raise $4000.

Thank you everyone who participated in the Friends of the Library Rummage and Bake Sale. the event was a great success and has helped us raise money for the Tech Fund which will provide new computers for our library's public use area. We especially want to thank Julie and Tony who so generously hosted it in their garage. It took many people to bring over all the items donated by our patrons and help the neighbors who dropped in. Sunday, June 26, 2011 Medieval Fundraising Dinner At The Limestone Township Library From 6-9pm Please join us for an evening of food, entertainment, and a silent auction, right among the stacks of the library itself. Tickets are $45 per couple or $25 per individual All proceeds go to The Library Tech Fundraiser Each ticket holder will also be entered into a raffle for a very exciting prize Free babysitting will be available for all toilet-trained children We will be hosting a silent auction preview June 20-25th Come see what items we have available, but only ticket-holders may place bids! Please check this page frequently, as more information will be added regarding the event as well as items and services donated by local businesses for the auction. If you own a local business and would like to make a donation, please let us know. We are also accepting cash donations to go towards our raffle prize. The Limestone Township Library Friends of the Library support and advocate for the patrons and staff of the Limestone Township Library by contributing to library programming, fundraising and enhancing the appearance of our library and community.In the spirit of friendship…
We are the Friends of the Library. As a nonprofit corporation, we collect and administer gifts, bequests and other monies (outside of local tax receipts) that help make the library’s many programs become an integral part of our community.
These additional funds help out library buy more books and replace damaged books. We also support programs including art time, summer reading, fall festival, holiday party with Santa, and more.
Above all, friendship is a relationship…

Become a Friend of the Library
The Friends of the Library are people just like you who value the importance of the library. But more than that, we take action. For example, we have purchased most recently a new book cart for the circulation area in the library and have volunteered at many of the library’s children’s programs and book sales.
Our funds will help support:
-programs for art
-the one room schoolhouse
-the butterfly garden
-purchasing of books
-programs for adults

Our New Computers!
Thanks to all the hard work of fund raising by Friends of the Library, we now have 3 beautiful new public computers! Come in and try out one of them and Windows 7. They are FREE to use with our speedy Internet service. THANK YOU FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY. You make a positive difference in your community!
