Mission Statement
The Limestone Township Library District is dedicated to providing the best possible library service to the community that it serves. There are three major components to the Library's mission:
a) to promote reading and study as a means of individual growth and enrichment, as a responsibility of citizenship, and as a form of recreation.
b) to provide high quality reference services and be a reliable source for background material and in-depth information.
c) to promote wide access to ideas and the products of cultural expression by providing access to a broad collection representative of many points of view and containing materials in many formats, by cooperating with other libraries to share library resources, and by striving to protect intellectual freedom.
Library service will be provided on a fair and equitable basis to all individuals.
