Happening at the Library

 

Family are invited to join us on Saturday, November 4 at 12:00 noon to make Mini Scarecrows. Kids of all ages can have fun creating small scarecrows to use as decoration. There is no cost for this program, all supplies will be provided.

Have an Adult Craft Night Out at our Adult Craft Night, which takes place on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 P.M. when we create Acorn Frames. Space is limited, so please register for this program.  All supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.

Have questions about using Word or Excel or how to get around on the World Wide Web? Come in during Drop-in Tech Help day from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon on Friday, November 3 or on Tuesday, November 7. When you arrive at the session, be sure to bring your device and any relevant passwords or login information you might need. The experts will help you troubleshoot and diagnose the issue, and work with you to find a solution.

Author Visit with Bill McCormick, aka Mr. McSciFi, on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30 P.M.
Bill is a critically acclaimed and award winning author. He began writing professionally in 1986 when he worked for Chicago Rocker Magazine.In 2011, Bill started submitting fictional short stories to various publishers. Much to his surprise,they began publishing his efforts, including his Brittle Riders trilogy. Bill will be speaking about his adventures in publishing.

Come for fun on Thursday, November 9 from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. for our Family Video Game Party. We will have on hand Super Smash Bothers Ultimate, Mario Kart and Guitar Hero. Feel free to bring your own Nintendo Switch and joycons! Snacks will be provided.                                     

Please be aware that the Library will be Closed on Saturday, November 11 in observance of Veterans’ Day.
