This Week at the Library

We invite families to join us for Plaster Fossils on Monday, July 11 at 6:30 P.M. when we will make our own fossils using plaster of Paris.

The Adult Book Club meets on Tuesday, July 12 at 6:30 P.M. We are discussing The All-Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg. Books are available at the Front Desk.

Story Time takes place on Wednesdays.   We will meet at 10:15 A.M. in person with Mr. William to read an exciting picture book or two and work on a craft to help preschoolers discover the joy of reading! George, our giant stuffed monkey, will be in attendance for children who want to practice their reading skills by reading to George!

S.T.E.M.onade Stand

Every Wednesday, kids in 3rd grade and up can come to the library for a new Take-and-Make craft from our S.T.E.M.onade Stand. These bags contain items to make a fun STEM inspired craft. Directions included.   July 13 will feature Cup and String Telephone.

We are having a Paracord Bracelet Workshop on Thursday, July 14 at 6:30 P.M. for the entire family. Using a series of knots, we will create those popular bracelets with the nylon roping.

Join us at the library for Science Demonstration with Ms. Faith and Ms. Holly on Friday, July 15 at 11:00 A.M. Our intrepid staff members will demonstrate a science experiment using items you have at home. This program is for kids in 1st through 5th grade.

Adults can beat the heat by coming in for a few rounds of Euchre on Friday, July 15 at 1:00 P.M.
