This Week at the Library

Summer reading programming starts on Monday, June 6 with a Design Your Own Coffee Mug program at 1:00 P.M. for Adults and Teens. We will work with Oil-based Sharpies to personalize your very own coffee mug.

We invite you to join us for a presentation on The Power of Budgeting on Monday, June 6 at 4:30 P.M. in the Meeting Room. This presentation for Adults and Teens will teach you the basics on how to set up a budget, presented by Adam Elroy, a financial advisor from Edward Jones.

Want to know more about the reading challenge app, Beanstack? Attend our program - How to Beanstack 101. It will take place on Tuesday, June 7 at 1:00 P.M. In this family event, join William as he helps participants in Summer Reading learn to use the app to track your minutes and titles.

Story Time takes place on Wednesdays
. We will meet at 10:15 A.M. in person with Mr. William to read an exciting picture book or two and work on a craft to help preschoolers discover the joy of reading! George, our giant stuffed monkey, will be in attendance for children who want to practice their reading skills by reading to George!

Every Wednesday, kids in 3rd grade and up
can come to the library for a Take-and-Make craft from our S.T.E.M.onade Stand. These bags contain items to make a fun STEM inspired craft. Directions included. June 8 will feature a Slingshot Rocket.

On Friday, June 10, we are having a Movie at the Library starting at 1:00 P.M. The whole family can come to the library and beat the heat while watching Spider-man: No Way Home. Popcorn and drinks will be served.

Saturdays features a Weekend Crafting Session. On Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 A.M., we will make Beaded Bookmarks. Please register ahead of time so we can have plenty of supplies on hand. This program is for children in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
