Manga/Anime Drawing Class

6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.
Learn how to draw in the popular Manga/Anime style with teacher Elena Turrell. All supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.






Drop-in Technology Support

10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
Bring in your new devices and let Staff help you work it so you can read ebooks from Libby and do simple procedures.







Speed Chess Tournament at Northfield Square Mall
Saturday, January 4
Open to all Ages
Start Time at 11:00 AM
Join the Limestone Township Library as they sponsor a Speed Chess Tournament at Northfield Square Mall on January 4th. This program is open to chess players of all ages. Start time is 11:00 A.M. You can pre-register by calling the library at 815-939-1696.  Special note: If possible, bring your own chess set and chess clock. A cell phone with a Lichess app will work in place of a chess clock.

Euchre Tournament
Monday, December 16
Starting at 4:40 P.M.
For All Ages
Bring a partner and compete against others in a late afternoon tournament. You can still play if you do not bring a partner. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.

Storytime
Tuesday, December 17
10:15 AM—11:00 AM
 Enjoy the mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. This program is for children 6-months to 5-year-old with their parents and/or guardians.



Bluestem Book Club
Saturday, December 21
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Kids in 3rd – 5th Grade will meet each month to a discuss a book from the Bluestem Award Nominee list and have their own book club. This month we are reading Her Right Foot by Dave Eggers.



Holiday Movie Day: Elf
Monday, December 23rd
5:30 P.M. –7:15 P.M.

Join us for an evening of watching the modern holiday classic – Elf starring Will Ferrell and James Caan. Popcorn and lemonade will be served. There is no charge for this program.

Adult Book Club

Join us for lively conversation and tasty treat as we pick our books for the following year. Participants are asked to bring an appetizer or sweet treat to share while we discuss which books to read for the following year.



Adult Craft Night

5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.
Join us for an evening of crafting as we paint a wineglass that can be used at home or given as a gift. There is no fee for this program but space is limited.


Monarch Book Club

Kids in 1st -3rd Grade have their own book club.
We will read the award winning or nominated book at our gathering time and have a crafting session.
