Starting Monday, October 28th through November 9th.
Find old favorites and new treasures at the Friends of the Library Semi-Annual Book Sale. Hard covers are $1.00, paperbacks are $.50.

 Enjoy the mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. This program is for children 6-months to 5-year-old with their parents and/or guardians.





International Game Week Open Play
Monday, November 4; Tuesday, November 5; and Thursday, November 7
6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.
Celebrate International Game Week by joining us for Open Play Nights. Try out our board and card games or bring your own to play with others. You can even bring in your gaming systems to hook up to our large screen TV.

Maker Space Drop-In! – Space Exploration

Kids in 2nd – 6th Grade
Join us for drop-in Maker Space time as we use STEAM to explore space through games and activities.

Fall Festival Still Happening!

F.Y.I.

Due to inclement weather, Fall Festival will be moving indoors. 
We will not be having pony rides or the Mia Bella food truck.
The Fire Truck is still coming. 
Games, Crafts, Face painting, and Trunk-or-treat 
will be in the Library and the Peterson School House.
See you at 12 Noon - 1:30 P.M.

Friends of the Library Week




We honor our Friends of the Library 
for all of their hard work volunteering at various programs 
and raising money to help provide the library with items 
to make our services that much better for our patrons. 
Such as the new computers in our public computer area.

You can help them out by ordering Fannie Mae candy at the Fall Festival 
or buying books at the Semi-Annual Book Sale starting October 29th.

Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension Office will discuss the work that is needed to be done at the end of the growing season for your garden to prepare for winter and make it thrive the following year.



Adult Craft Night

6:30 – 7:30 PM
Join us for the return of Adult Craft Night. We will be making Mason jar lanterns and enjoying fall refreshments.

Since NASA was founded over 60 years ago, women have played vital roles in the agency’s many accomplishments.  Join NASA Solar System Ambassador James Joel Knapper as he highlights several of the women who have been a part of NASA past, present and future. 
This is a One Book One Community event.
