     Lego Building Family Style

     11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

Join us for an open play session with all of the family, creating buildings and creatures with Lego blocks. All supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.

Imagination Station

Grab your costumes and get ready to play! This is a story, craft, and dress-up program that encourages the growth and creativity of ages pre-K through 2nd grade.

Meet at 11:30 A.M. at the LeeHan Martial Arts Academy in Bourbonnais. Take a tour of the school and have a class to get a taste of the martial arts. 

Evening Storytime

Come during an early evening program to enjoy the mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. Parents and guardians can bring their 6-months to 5-year-old children. PJ's encouraged.

Join us as we discuss The Garden of Small Beginnings by Abbi Waxman, a fiction novel dealing with grief and gardening. Books are available for pick up at the Front Desk.

Puppet Theatre

Join us every Wednesday for puppet theatre! Learn how to make your own puppets, props, and create a story. Set the stage and perform a show for family and friends!

Stitch by Stitch

Grab your crochet hooks, knitting needles, scrapbooks, or other crafting project for a fun night at the Library! Work on your project while talking and laughing with others. You supply your craft; we supply the space.

Senior Yoga

Take a pause from your summer errands and join us for yoga at the library. Chairs are provided if needed.

DIY Wooden Crate

Starts at 6:15 P.M.
Get your hands in the dirt with this DIY flower box! We will be re-purposing wooden crates with a distressed flare. Add this perfect touch of rustic warmth to your home. All supplies provided. There is no fee.

Coloring and Coffee

Bring your coloring books, pencils, and markers for a morning session of coloring and socializing with others. Coffee and pastries provided. 

Summer Reading Program
Reading logs for Summer Reading are due by 5:00 P.M. Please bring them to the Front Desk and receive your final raffle basket tickets.

Magic and Art Show!

Celebrate the end of a successful Summer Reading Program with a bang!
 Dan Gogh uses a sparkling blend of magic, comedy, and art for 45 minutes of non-stop fun! You must be registered for SRP in order to attend.
