Book Sale!



Semi-Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale
Runs  Through June 5th
Check out our selection for our spring book sale. 
It starts with children’s titles and 
ends with adult cookbooks with plenty in between. 
You will find something for everybody. 
Hard covers are $1.00 each, paper backs 
and children’s books are .25₵ each.

Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Getting Ready for Kindergarten – 

Our Furry Friends

Thursday, May 24th

6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Ages 3 – 5 years old

Join us as we read to the dogs and celebrate our furry friends 
as a part of our yearlong 
Getting Ready For Kindergarten (GRFK) program. 

You must be in the GRFK program in order to participate 

and sign up is easy. 

This program is funded by a grant from the

 Community Works fund from the Community Foundation of 

Kankakee River Valley.

Mother's Day Craft
Saturday, May 5th
1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M.
Celebrate Mom's special day with a handmade craft. All supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.


Storytime
Tues., May 8th
10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Enjoy the mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. Parents and guardians can bring their 6-months to 5-year-old children.



Adult Book Club
Tues., May 8th
6:30 – 7:30 P.M.
Join us for lively conversation as we discuss May’s book selection, Endurance by Scott Kelly. Books are available at the front desk.
