Storytime
Tues., Feb. 13th
10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Enjoy the mix of crafts, stories, and music to help young children develop a love for reading. Parents and guardians can bring their 6-months to 5-year-old children.


Adult Book Club
Tuesday, February 13th
6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.
Join us for lively discussion as we talk about The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. There are books available at the Desk. We can always put more on hold.

Lego Building
Saturday, February 17th
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Our Lego building blocks and your creativity can only add up to lots of fun at the library. Join us and other Lego enthusiasts for an afternoon of building fun. For children in Kindergarten and up.



Adult Coloring
Monday, February 19th
6:30 P.M. -7:30 PM
Come for an evening of coloring and relaxation as you create beautiful pictures. Bring your own coloring book and medium (colored pencils, markers, or crayons), or use our colored pencils and coloring pages.


Tiny Explorers
Tuesday, February 20th
10:00 A.M. – 11:00 P.M.
Playing at a number of stations, children will learn fine motor skills with the help of manipulatives. Activities are meant for children from ages 6 months to 5 years old.


Getting Ready for Kindergarten – Super Hero Science
Thursday, February 22nd
6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.
Ages 3 – 5 years old

Join us as we do science experiments with our favorite teenage mutant friends and eat their favorite food as a part of our yearlong Getting Ready For Kindergarten (GRFK) program. You must be in the GRFK program in order to participate. This program is funded by a grant from the Community Works fund from the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley. 

             Registration for programs is required 
                    prior to the day of the event.
