Snowman Building Contest

Everyone likes to build snowmen, right? Well we are going to have a snowman building contest at the library (if there is snow)! Sign up to come to the library December 12th form 4:30pm-6:30pm to make your very own snowman on the library lawn! There will be warm cocoa served to warm-up after! If there is no snow, the program will consist of a craft and game inside!

DIY Christmas Wreath

Adults!!! This is for you! We are going to be making Christmas Wreaths out of Christmas ornaments, pine cones, etc. There is a program fee of $5, but all the materials will be available to you! You do not want to miss this amazing program! Call the library to pre-register as there are only 9 more spots available.

Gingerbread House

Join us as we have fun playing cowboy as a part of our yearlong Getting Ready For Kindergarten (GRFK) program. You must be in the GRFK program in order to participate. And sign up is easy. This program is funded by a grant from the Community Works fund from the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley.

Help a Union Soldier find his way back to his fort by looking for clues and pieces of the puzzle in the school house left behind by his commander. Small groups will have 15 minutes to solve the riddle. This event takes place in the Peterson Schoolhouse and costs $2.00 per person.
