Art

Younger children will create their own designs that will glow
on its own. All supplies are provided there is no fee for this program.
U of I Extension – Engineer for a Day
3rd – 5th
Grades
Presented
by the University if Illinois Extension office, kids in 3rd-5th
grades will take on the challenges an engineer faces. The kids will brainstorm
how to solve it, design, build it, and test out their idea. Kids will learn how
to solve real world problems using supplies they can find at home. This week’s
challenge is Marble Mazes and Roller Coasters.
Painted Wine Bottles
Wednesday, July 12th

6th Grade and
Up
Take an empty wine
bottle and paint it to look like anything your mind can imagine. All
supplies are provided, there is no fee for this program.
Author Visit - Gary Moore
Thursday, July 13th

Local award-winning
author Gary Moore will read from his latest book, The Final Service. There will also be a question-and-answer
session.

Lego Building

Our Lego building blocks
and your creativity can only add up to lots of fun at the library. Join us and
other Lego enthusiasts for an afternoon of building fun. For children in
Kindergarten and up.

the Universe

Scrabble for Adults

Come out for a night of fun as you battle
against opponents to see who can score the most points building words tile by
tile.
