Holiday Craft and More at Busse and Rieck's
Tuesday, November 1
6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.

Take an adult field trip to Busse and Rieck's for a night of fun. We will be making a holiday craft along with seeing the latest home decor styles. There is a $5.00 fee payable upon registration

Google Docs
Thursday, November 3 
6:30-7:30 p.m.
You will learn Google Docs basics; how to create and format documents, manage documents with multiple users, and build a Docs archive.  Users are required to bring a valid Gmail account to login.

Storytime at Night

6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
Enjoy Storytime activities of a mix of crafts, stories, and music for 6-months to five-year-old children with parents and guardians during an evening session.

Lego Building

Our Lego building blocks and your creativity can only add up to lots of fun at the library. Join us and other Lego enthusiasts for an afternoon of building fun.

Monarch Book Club

Kids in 1st -3rd Grade have their own book club. We will read the book of the month at our gathering time and have a crafting session.

Take on a simple crocheting project as Helen teaches us how to make a Gingerbread Man Ornament. A supply list is available upon registration.

 Banzai! Financial Literacy

Banzai! is a computer-based educational tool that helps teach the value of a dollar. Sponsored by Riverside Community Credit Union, the program starts with a pre-test that takes the participant through a group of life financial situations. The program is held in two sessions.

Learn how to use the computer. Get comfortable with Password login,
file storage locations, Microsoft Office programs, keyboarding, and printing.

Kids in 5th -8th Grade can get together to talk about  Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko. Books will be available for pick up before the meeting or we can put one on hold for you. This is a KALA One Book, One Community event. KALA is the Kankakee Area Library Association.

Playing at a number of stations, children will learn fine motor skills with the help of manipulative toys. These activities are meant for children from ages 6 months to 5 years old.

Explore how to safely navigate the Internet.  This course will include visits to several websites that will provide you valuable information.

Build your Excel skills in this session for beginners. Gain hands-on experience by learning how to work with formulas, enter and edit data, create charts, format worksheets, and much more.  Practice what you learn by creating your own usable worksheets.
