Combine the three and you have the beginnings of a great social evening! Bring your own coloring book and medium or use our colored pencils and coloring pages.

Pillowcase Project
Saturday, April 10th
1:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Justin Larson, Americorp/American Red Cross representative, presents a workshop that teaches children the understanding of science hazards, practicing how to prepare for emergencies, and understand that by sharing what they have learned with family and friends, they can help create a prepared community. Pillowcases will be decorated to take home and use to pack their emergency items. The Limestone Township Fire Department is bringing their tornado simulator for a demonstration.

Upcycled Wood Craft                                                                                                                   Upcycle wood rectangles into a beautiful welcome sign for your home. Whether you use decoupage or paint, make it your own unique sign!

The Lorax Project
Saturday, April 16th
1:00 P.M.                                                                                                                                              Come out to our Earth Day Celebration. Learn about the Lorax and the value of trees to our community. We will be making a special project from tree products and of course make our own trufulla tree and eat trufulla fruit!

Music of the Civil War
Tuesday, April 19
6:30 – 7:30 P.M.
Ronald Selle and Darlene Agner bring their exhibition of historical sheet music, encompassing the Civil War 1861-1865, to life with their presentation of storytelling and song.

No school today? Then come on down to the library with your friends and watch a fun movie. This afternoon we are watching Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. Popcorn and lemonade will be served.



Introduction to Excel
Monday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 30
6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. 
Using a spreadsheet can be very helpful but creating one might be a problem. Learn how to use the Excel program in this two-part class. You must attend both nights. This class is geared for adults.


Crochet with Helen
Tuesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 31
6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
Welcome Spring with a crocheted basket and flowers. Stop by the desk or call and register and receive your supply list. Students need to attend both classes.

Lowe's Build and Grow Clinic

Join Lowe's and the library in celebrating National Craft Month. Lowe's will be at the library to conduct a Build and Grow Clinic for kids in Kindergarten and up. All supplies are included. Sign up soon as possible, space is limited.
