Monday July 6,  Heart Healthy Food, Grades K – 2nd, 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.                                   
What can you create with an apple? Find out how this good-for-the-heart fruit can be used to create art.

Monday, July 6,  The Over 18 Crowd Movie Night, 6:15 – 8 P.M.                                              
 Join us for popcorn, lemonade, and a movie meant for those of us 18 years of age and older. The movie selection is the cult classic Attack of the Killer Tomatoes which spoofs the sci-fi movies of the 50s and 60s.

Tuesday, July 7,  Musical Shrink Art, 1:00 – 2:00 P.M., Grades 3 - 5    
 Create a Shrink Art Guitar Pick and scratch art guitar.


Tuesday, July 7,  Crafter’s Night Out, 6:00 – 7:30 P.M.,                                   Do you have an unfinished craft project waiting for that block of time to be completed? Bring it to the Library for an enjoyable night out with other crafters getting their UFO’s completed.   
    


Wednesday, July 8th, Drawing Class, 1-2:30 P.M., 6th -12th Grades,                                          Local artist Mary LeRoy teaches the class how  to draw what is right in front of you.

Thursday, July 9, Movie Day, 1 P.M.                                                                                              Join us for an afternoon of popcorn and lemonade along with THE SPONGE BOB MOVIE,  a movie that all members of the family can watch!


Saturday, July 11, Lego Building, 1-2 P.M., K-5                              Bring your creativity to the table when we pull out all of our Lego blocks and platforms.

Monday, July 13, Jump for My Heart!, 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Grades K – 2  Discover and try out all sorts of jumping activities that keep the heart healthy. A special visit from Petco will showcase amphibious jumpers.

Monday, July 13,  How It’s Made? Electric Guitar with Tim Wilhelm, 6:30 – 7:30 PM          College Professor Tim Wilhelm from KCC and special guests will be on hand to show us how electric guitars were made locally. You won’t want to miss the guitar performance!

Tuesday, July 14th or Thursday, July 16th, 10:00 A.M., Tiny Explorers, 6 months-5 years,         Children explore hands-on learning, using a variety of materials and activities. Counting, color and shape recognition and sensory development are included.


Tuesday, July 14, How It’s Made. Violin with Scott Albert, 1-2:00 P.M., 3rd – 5th Grade      Local violin designer Scott Albert will show children in 3rd -5th grade how a violin is made , step by step. Parents may attend the program as well. It will be an afternoon of musical strings.

Tuesday, July 14, Adult Book Club, 6:30 – 7:30 P.M.                                                                   This month the book club reads a debut author, Susan Ella Mac Neal, with the first book of her “Maggie Hope” series.  In this story, Maggie is working as a secretary in Winston Churchill’s office during WWII. But what she sees and hears could lead to bigger dangers. Pick up your copy at the Library and join us for a great discussion time.

Wednesday, July 15, Art with Rhythm, 1:00 - 2:00, 3rd - 5th Grade                                 
 Local artist Mary Le Roy Instructs attendees how art relates to rhythm.
