Introduction to Chess

Feb. 2, Ages 6-8

1:00-2:00 P.M.

 

Come and learn one of the most popular games on Earth. Kids will learn the basics of this great game! Chess boards will be furnished.

The ice skating fundraiser was a huge success! It was wonderful to see so many people out on the ice and having fun. Thank you all for your support and for such a fun afternoon!

Winter Reading Finale!

This is the week to turn in your Winter Reading logs!

 These reading logs are due January 17th. 

Our finale will be held January 19th at 1:00 P.M. 

The Willowhaven Interpretive Center will present a program 

and bring some great exhibits!

Lapsits and Story Time

For the next two weeks 

(January 22nd through the 31st) 

Lapsits and Story Time programs are canceled. 

These programs will resume in February. 

Ice Skating

Ready for some winter fun?  Take a spin on the ice at the Kankakee Valley Ice Centre on January 13th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.  Prices are just $5 for kids and $7 for adults (includes skate rental) to be paid at the door, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Limestone Township Library.  The Friends support the library's programs and assist with the purchase of technology, books and other materials.

Join us on January 10th at 6:30 PM for Mo Willems stories and themed activities, with a local guest reader!
